Zine Workshop
From Photographs to Zine: a two-part workshop with documentary photographer Aino Väänänen
You have hundreds of photographs. Which ones tell the story?
In this two-session workshop you'll edit and sequence your own images into a 16-page A5 zine, and launch it here in the gallery. Your starting point can be a project you've been working on or simply a loose collection of photos. Session one is about the hardest part of photography: choosing.
Editing, sequencing, building a narrative from your existing work, with individual feedback. Between sessions your zine goes to print. In session two we fold, bind, and finish.
Then, on Sunday, your zines make their debut at the exhibition finissage: a launch with the makers present and the gallery full.
